Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive timeous execution of effective maintenance strategies including planned, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance
• Identify maintenance risks on client property and equipment for evaluation and resolution
• Implement effective HSE, Quality, and Risk Management systems
• Ensure optimum utilization of available resources and timely delivery of parts and spares
• Monitor and evaluate technical staff performance to ensure quality and cost optimization per SLA
• Manage back-to-back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors
• Monitor service provider performance and effect corrective actions
• Assist in the management of technical projects and provide technical support
• Manage operations within the allocated budget
• Manage technical staff performance, coaching, and development
• Prepare suitable shift rosters and manage subordinate leave

Requirements

• National Diploma, Degree, or B Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering
• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• Valid SA Driver’s License
• 5 years relevant engineering experience in maintenance engineering, CRM, and Property Management
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
• Knowledge of SAP
• Understanding of OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, and Risk Management Systems
