Technical Manager/Bidding Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tender Department and manage the full tendering lifecycle for major construction and infrastructure projects
• Manage the overall bidding process from initiation to final submission, including technical and commercial coordination
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant submissions
• Review tender requirements, specifications, drawings, and contractual documents
• Develop competitive bidding strategies and ensure adherence to company standards and client requirements
• Supervise and guide the tendering team throughout the bidding lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience within construction companies and tendering departments
• Mandatory GCC experience, preferably within Qatar
• Proven experience handling major building, infrastructure, industrial, or mixed-use construction projects
• Strong understanding of tendering procedures, contract administration, estimation, and construction methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office and tendering systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Must be currently based in Qatar or ready for immediate relocation
