About the role
Responsibilities
- Define, structure, and lead the roadmap for perfume analysis activities, including methodologies, priorities, and risk management
- Supervise analytical laboratory activities to ensure high standards of scientific and experimental quality
- Manage, develop, and mentor a team of perfumer analysts to drive collective performance and engagement
- Structure and analyze complex technical and market data to provide actionable competitive intelligence
- Collaborate closely with global Technical, Creation, Development, and Digital Transformation teams
- Identify industry trends and anticipate competitor movements to support business decisions
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a complex technical environment
- Master's or PhD in Analytical Chemistry
- Deep expertise in instrumental analysis techniques, specifically GC/MS and GC/FID
- Strong olfactory evaluation skills and knowledge of natural ingredients
- Proven experience in team management
- Fluency in both French and English
- Strong ability to transform technical data into business insights
