Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and lead the automation and AI adoption strategy to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Own end-to-end delivery of technical, automation, and migration initiatives.
• Develop detailed project plans covering milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities and communicate project status.
• Provide advisory support to peer teams regarding technical platform and tooling requirements.
• Manage escalations, conduct root cause analysis, and present corrective actions to leadership.
• Define and enforce quality governance and performance metrics across all project deliverables.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including SOPs, automation repositories, and project trackers.
• Lead and manage team performance through clear direction and coaching.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, automation, or technical operations.
• 3+ years of stakeholder management experience (customer-facing preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with automation and data platforms, specifically proficiency in Alteryx or Power BI.
• Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to apply them in an operational context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interrogating large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work flexible business hours to support global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the travel industry, Travel Operations, or with a TMC.
