Technical Leader (Core Infrastructure & Automation)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of PowerShell scripts and automation workflows
• Participate in system architecture review, technical design, and code quality assurance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, batch job failures, and system performance issues
• Review technical deliverables, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Build, optimize, and maintain scheduled tasks, batch processing jobs, and automation scripts
• Work with databases including DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server to support data-driven operations
• Collaborate with Project Managers and onshore/offshore teams to track delivery progress
• Assign tasks and conduct technical reviews to ensure high-quality outputs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software system development and maintenance
• Proven experience as a Technical Leader or Senior Developer with team management
• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, batch processing, and task automation
• Hands-on experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server and strong SQL skills
• Solid understanding of SDLC and project delivery processes
• Good English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe environments or legacy system migration
• Japanese language proficiency
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, or cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
