Technical Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of high-quality, scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Define technical paths for complex engineering problems and establish architectural best practices.
• Drive the architecture, security, compliance, and observability of the core platform.
• Mentor engineering peers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Drive platform evolution with a focus on resilience, scalability, and component communication.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and other engineering groups to ensure successful delivery.
• Research and apply AI/ML concepts to innovate product capabilities like intelligent routing and predictive maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically with high-scale SaaS platforms.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, including deep knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Extensive experience architecting and managing solutions on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Mastery of container orchestration, specifically EKS/Kubernetes.
• Strong DevOps expertise, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and automated platform management.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and AS2.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and work within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Conceptual understanding or practical experience applying AI/ML techniques to engineering problems.
