Technical Lead (SCADA)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, integration, and implementation of SCADA solutions.
• Define User Requirement Specifications (URS) and prepare detailed software and hardware design specifications.
• Manage the development, testing, deployment, and documentation of SCADA applications.
• Oversee procurement of software, hardware, and licenses, and prepare technical proposals.
• Manage SCADA project delivery from inception through to commissioning.
• Lead on-site installation, testing, and system start-up activities.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical team members.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operators and client teams.

Requirements

• B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 7–8 years of experience in Automation / SCADA engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA platforms such as AVEVA System Platform, FactoryTalk, or WinCC.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, SQL databases, and industrial networking.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
• Preference for candidates currently in Qatar with a valid transferable work visa.
