Technical Lead - Satellite Mission

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for space mission projects, aligning technical requirements with program objectives
• Develop, manage, and track project plans, schedules, and budgets for all phases of the space mission
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful collaboration
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute comprehensive risk management strategies for technical and operational risks
• Lead project reviews, manage status updates, and propose corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in space mission management
• Provide technical insights into design reviews, architecture discussions, and integration approaches
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to drive project deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in program or project management with a focus on aerospace or space missions
• Proven experience managing technical programs in satellite communications or related fields
• Strong understanding of satellite technology, space systems engineering, and mission planning
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
