Technical Lead - Python

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and unit testing
• Take ownership of delivering complex application features and resolving key technical issues
• Mentor new software engineers and lead technical discussions within the development team
• Ensure long-term code reusability, stability, and security by proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Lead code reviews and provide guidance on technical documentation
• Integrate new technologies and ensure compliance with company release processes

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in Python or Java
• Experience building workflows and services using Snowflake
• Proven experience in cloud implementation design using AWS or GCP
• Proficiency with Microservices architecture, RESTful Webservices, and NoSQL/SQL databases
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline design
• Strong understanding of Event-driven architecture and Kafka
• Deep knowledge of SOLID principles and TDD/BDD methodologies
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Git, and GitHub

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node JS or Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of GraphQL tools such as ApolloGraph or Wundergraph
• Experience with Serverless computing and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Familiarity with troubleshooting using Grafana or Loki
