Technical Lead - Power BI

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
• Drive business intelligence initiatives to deliver actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet business requirements
• Mentor junior analysts to build team capability and technical expertise
• Establish and implement best practices to scale Power BI analytics across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 6–8 years of experience in BI/Analytics
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or senior role
• Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Proficiency in SQL, including optimization, stored procedures, joins, and views
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills
• Proven experience mentoring and leading small BI/analytics teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
• Familiarity with Tableau, Qlik, or Python/R
