About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical direction for mobile development strategy and patient-facing applications.
  • Rapidly prototype and ship features in mobile and web apps using AI tools to improve engagement and retention.
  • Partner with product, design, and clinical teams to translate patient needs into technical features.
  • Mentor and grow junior engineers while setting high technical standards and architecture patterns.
  • Steer product direction to support and retain patients during critical care windows.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building and shipping consumer or patient-facing products (mobile, web, or both).
  • Proven experience serving as a technical lead, setting architecture and mentoring engineers.
  • Full-stack proficiency and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Knowledge of LLM coding agents to multiply engineering impact.
  • Strong collaborative skills with product and design teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
  • Background in healthcare, wellness, or other high-trust consumer domains.
  • Experience building engagement, retention, or onboarding flows.
  • Prior experience with AI/ML or building agent-based systems.
