Technical Lead of Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to a team of software engineers on daily tasks, activities, and technical best practices
• Set overall expectations for team output, collaboration, and engineering standards
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure work adheres to compliance standards and service level agreements
• Anticipate dependencies with other teams to deliver products in line with business requirements
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect within the engineering organization

Requirements

• 10+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification
• Hands-on experience in microservices development using Java, Spring Boot, or Python
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs
• Experience designing and building enterprise-scale data processing applications using SQL and NoSQL
• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD methodologies
• Practical experience with Agile/SCRUM development frameworks
• Advanced proficiency in both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end projects from requirement scoping to successful launch
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience with TypeScript, Jest, Cypress, and Webpack
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning frameworks
• Familiarity with production management and monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana
