Technical Lead Manager - Frontend

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and execution for the AI Frontend team, driving projects from design through deployment
• Provide deep technical oversight through design reviews, architecture discussions, and complex system implementations
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AI/ML-powered frontend development and engineering excellence
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate user needs into technical roadmaps
• Mentor and coach engineers on technical challenges and career development
• Define team plans and ensure frontend platform availability, performance, and maintainability
• Lead improvements in engineering processes, tooling, and developer experience
• Partner with backend and platform teams to ensure smooth integration
• Champion the use of AI coding assistants in the development workflow

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, user-facing systems
• 3+ years of experience managing and leading engineering teams
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the React ecosystem
• Proficiency in at least one additional language such as Python, Go, or Java
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system design
• Ability to translate product requirements into technical specifications
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or shipping LLM-powered applications
• Active use of AI coding assistants in daily workflows
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Prior experience in data analytics, BI, or conversational AI products
• Familiarity with backend services and APIs powering AI/ML inference
