Technical Lead, Forward Deployed Engineering

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy end-to-end AI systems, owning the technical vision and architecture from problem framing to deployed workflows.
• Champion production discipline by implementing best practices in context engineering, evaluation, and operational readiness.
• Mandate rigorous testing standards, including golden sets, regression harnesses, and red-teaming to ensure secure and observable code.
• Deliver production-ready code in fast-paced, two-to-six-week cycles based on direct stakeholder feedback.
• Lead and mentor a pod of elite, AI-native full-stack engineers, fostering a culture of high talent density.
• Facilitate collaboration across diverse stakeholders, from engineering teams to C-suite executives, to design systems with measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience shipping end-to-end production software systems.
• Proven experience with data, machine learning, and AI-native applications.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical team leadership, including managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of modern AI technologies, including context engineering, evaluation discipline, and model strategy.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Ability to demonstrate real-world experience via a portfolio, GitHub repository, or a structured system walk-through.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience leveraging modern development accelerators like Claude Code, Lovable, or Cursor.
