Technical Lead - Formulations & Packaging Technologies

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for formulation and packaging systems within the Starlink program
• Translate business and scientific requirements into detailed technical designs, configurations, and data structures
• Support the digitization and harmonization of formulation compositions, ingredient data, and packaging specifications
• Ensure structured, high-quality data enables traceability from substance to SKU
• Provide technical support for SAP S/4HANA IPD related to formulation and packaging
• Support integration between IPD, Starlink platforms, and other R&D systems
• Execute technical activities in line with GxP, validation, and security requirements
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and vendors to ensure solution scalability and alignment with standards

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Packaging Technology, or a related discipline
• 6–9 years of experience supporting digital solutions for R&D formulation and/or packaging systems
• Hands-on experience in digitizing formulation and packaging data
• Practical experience working with SAP S/4HANA IPD (configuration, integration, or delivery support)
• Experience working in regulated (GxP) environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Life Sciences or Consumer Health R&D
• Exposure to ingredient and substance master data concepts
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs (e.g., PLM initiatives)
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and integrations
• Experience working with system integrators or external vendors
