Technical Lead - Delivery Acceleration

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including branching, environment promotion, and release-gating strategies.
• Define infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards and multi-cloud/AWS provisioning patterns.
• Drive zero-downtime deployment patterns such as blue/green and canary releases for regulated financial workloads.
• Set the observability strategy, defining metrics, logs, traces, and SLOs for production-ready services.
• Manage the security posture of the delivery pipeline, integrating SAST/DAST, container scanning, and secrets management.
• Evaluate and implement emerging platform needs, including LLM gateway infrastructure and vector database hosting.
• Lead the day-to-day delivery of an offshore senior developer team, including sprint planning, code reviews, and unblocking technical tasks.
• Report delivery status, risks, and roadmap timelines to engineering leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, or delivery engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role owning end-to-end delivery.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines (design and governance at scale).
• Strong experience with Terraform/IaC design, including module architecture and state management.
• Expert-level AWS knowledge (compute, networking, IAM, and security) in multi-account settings.
• Proven experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing Blue/Green deployment patterns and multi-region architectures.
• Strong background in Observability architecture and Test Automation strategy.
• Deep expertise in security scanning integration (SAST/DAST) and OWASP-aligned controls.
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage offshore teams and translate technical decisions to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting LLM gateway infrastructure or working with AWS Bedrock.
• Familiarity with PII detection and scrubbing patterns in data flows.
• Exposure to Vector DB infrastructure design.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Terraform Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
