Technical Lead - CFD

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements throughout the sales cycle, including customer meetings, product demonstrations, and solution positioning
• Deliver high-quality technical support and training to customers across the Middle East region
• Act as a subject matter expert in gas turbine CFD and combustion modelling
• Conduct simulations involving reacting flows, combustion systems, heat transfer, and internal flows in rotating equipment
• Develop, validate, and optimize combustion and reacting flow models, including chemical kinetics and emissions (NOx, soot)
• Work closely with customer engineering teams to integrate CFD into their product development workflows

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in CFD, preferably within the aerospace or gas turbine industry
• Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise in Ansys Fluent and/or Ansys CFX
• Experience with turbomachinery tools such as BladeGen, TurboGrid, or Vista-CPD/Vista-TF
• Proven experience in gas turbine combustor simulations and turbulence-chemistry interaction models
• Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering technical training
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% within the region
