Technical Lead – CFD

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, evaluations, and solution positioning
• Deliver high-quality technical support and training to customers across the Middle East region
• Act as a subject matter expert in gas turbine CFD and combustion modelling
• Conduct simulations involving reacting flows, gas turbine combustors, heat transfer, and internal flows in rotating equipment
• Develop, validate, and optimize combustion and reacting flow models, including chemical kinetics and emissions (NOx, soot)
• Work closely with customer engineering teams to integrate CFD into their product development workflows

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in CFD, preferably within the aerospace or gas turbine industry
• Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise in Ansys Fluent and/or Ansys CFX
• Experience with SpaceClaim, Workbench, BladeGen, TurboGrid, or similar turbomachinery tools
• Proven experience in gas turbine combustor simulations and combustion/reacting flow modelling
• Proficiency in turbulence-chemistry interaction models and emissions prediction
• Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering technical training
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the region
