About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead production support and application maintenance activities for large-scale eCommerce applications.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for critical production incidents.
  • Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes to ensure platform stability.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor application health, performance, and availability using observability tools.
  • Lead onsite and offshore support teams and drive continuous service improvements.
  • Identify and implement automation initiatives and AI-powered workflows to improve operational efficiency and troubleshooting.
  • Support production releases and ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Application Support and Maintenance.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Proven experience supporting CommerceTools-based eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services and application hosting.
  • Extensive experience in Incident & Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or App Insights.
  • Experience with messaging systems or event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of React.js and modern frontend application architectures.
  • Experience with Contentstack CMS or other headless content management platforms.
  • Background in the Retail or eCommerce domain.
  • Exposure to AIOps and support automation platforms.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
  • Azure and/or CommerceTools certifications.
