Technical Instructor

Responsibilities

• Support instructor-led training to prepare students for entry-level to mid-level IT Support careers
• Deliver daily instruction, assessment administration, and one-on-one tutoring
• Monitor and evaluate individual student progress and address violations
• Provide students with relevant resources for outside learning and study aids
• Maintain and update Salesforce and LMS with grades, certification scores, and progress notes
• Support and maintain training curricula, syllabi, and lesson plans

Requirements

• 1-3 years of teaching or training experience
• Proficient understanding of IT support fundamentals (hardware, software, networking)
• Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems
• Experience troubleshooting software installations, network configurations, and hardware malfunctions
• Knowledge of IT security protocols and best practices
• Ability to work with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote desktop tools
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)
• Experience with Group Policy and server storage solutions (RAID)
• Experience implementing backup and data restoration strategies
• Advanced knowledge of wired and wireless network management
• Master's degree in a related field
