Technical Instructor (AWS DevOps)

Responsibilities

• Support instructor-led training for AWS DevOps Engineering careers
• Provide daily instruction, assessment administration, and one-on-one tutoring
• Monitor individual student progress and address student violations
• Provide students with relevant resources for outside learning
• Maintain and update Salesforce and LMS with student grades and progress notes
• Support and maintain training curricula, syllabi, and lesson plans

Requirements

• 1-3 years of teaching or training experience
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (DOP-C02) domains
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline
• Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation, OpsWorks, and Elastic Beanstalk
• Ability to configure Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray
• Experience with Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), and Route 53
• Strong understanding of IAM policies, AWS Config, KMS, and Secrets Manager
• Skill in developing AWS Lambda functions and using Amazon EventBridge
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Active AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification
• Experience using LLMs and Copilots for debugging and IaC generation
• Proficiency in Python and Boto3
• Prior experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
