Technical Inspector Aircraft UH60

Responsibilities

• Maintain Quality Control, Environmental, and Safety Programs at the field level for UH-60 aircraft and support equipment
• Perform receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety, and functional operational inspections
• Inspect, repair, and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems in accordance with military publications
• Approve or reject work performed by field team members to ensure compliance with technical data and customer specifications
• Analyze defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends
• Monitor tool control programs and ensure measuring and test equipment meets calibration requirements
• Coordinate with Customer Quality Assurance Representatives regarding mandatory inspection points and final acceptance

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience
• FAA A&P Certificate or FCC Elements 1 and 3
• Minimum of one (1) year of UH-60 (MDS) inspection experience if holding an A&P
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance (NAC-I T1 Public Trust)
• US Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility
• Valid US Passport required for deployment to Germany
• Ability to qualify for German Government TESA approval
