Technical Engineering/Process Development Co-op

Responsibilities

• Complete three structured rotations through the Technical Engineering Functions Department to gain diverse manufacturing experience.
• Engage in Bosch Production Systems (BPS) tasks including value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, and process standardization.
• Support technical engineering functions by investigating manufacturing issues, participating in FMEA, and developing control plans.
• Assist in process development through CAD design (Solidworks/AutoCAD), workstation modification, and capital expenditure project support.
• Contribute to Tool & Die/TPM activities including CNC machining, tooling selection, and Total Productive Maintenance implementation.
• Support core Industrial Engineering functions such as work efficiency tracking, ergonomics evaluations, and MTM time standards.
• Gain exposure to Industry 4.0 digitalization strategies and digital manufacturing standards.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Enrollment in a program providing a solid foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving.
• Ability to commit to three full-time, on-site rotations (approximately 18–20 months total).
• Availability for the following rotation schedule:
• First Rotation: August – December 2026
• Second Rotation: May – August 2027
• Third Rotation: January – May 2028
