Technical Documentation Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Compile, organize, and edit technical content provided by subject matter experts
• Scope, track, and manage documentation processes to ensure high-quality delivery on time and within budget
• Translate complex technical information into simple, polished, and engaging content
• Develop comprehensive, accurate, and consistent documentation using a unified voice
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Program Managers to meet established deadlines
• Research and gather information to further develop technical content
• Multitask on complex projects requiring independent action and timely updates to management

Requirements

• BS degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or Business (or 5-10 years of technical documentation experience in a semiconductor environment)
• 5 years of experience writing operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, software user, and repair manuals for complex electro-mechanical equipment
• Experience working with structural authoring platforms
• Expert knowledge of industry-standard word processing, desktop publishing, and graphics applications
• Strong written and oral communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter in a fast-paced environment
