Technical Documentation Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program teams to drive engineering development and implementation for product subsystems or components.
• Manage moderate to high complexity projects, including the development of schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Deliver professionally written reports and communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders and executive management.
• Identify technical risks and create effective mitigation plans to ensure adherence to product roadmaps.
• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of new technologies and process automation within the engineering team.
• Coordinate activities between internal development partners and external contract manufacturing teams.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 4-7 years of professional work experience.
• Proven experience in engineering development and implementation.
• Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and people management.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software packages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Kanban principles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes.
• Experience with JIRA and software development lifecycles.
• Expertise in risk management and change management.
