Technical Director Transport

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth, performance, and delivery of the Roads & Highways portfolio in Queensland
• Strengthen and expand trusted relationships with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and other key partners
• Develop and execute market strategies aligned with regional and national priorities
• Provide visible, values-led leadership aligned to Mott MacDonald’s PRIDE values
• Drive collaboration across disciplines to deliver innovative and optimized engineering outcomes
• Ensure successful delivery of complex transport programs across various frameworks, including design-only, design and construct, and alliancing
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing and engaged technical team

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline
• RPEQ, Chartered, or equivalent professional accreditation
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering major roads and highways projects within Queensland
• Strong, established professional relationships with TMR and/or local government
• Proven track record of growing client relationships and winning new work
• Experience leading and developing high-performing professional teams
