Technical Director – Power Technology & Foundry Engineering (HV/BCD)

Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced team of technologists developing advanced 180nm to 40nm HV and BCD process technology.
• Oversee the development and optimization of high-voltage (HV) and BCD device architectures using a data-driven approach.
• Act as the executive regional interface across the Greater China foundry ecosystem to shape partnerships and drive priority alignment.
• Manage foundry partner relationships to ensure NXP priorities are met with urgency and appropriate resource commitment.
• Provide technical and leadership oversight to ensure team execution meets time and target objectives.
• Drive technology roadmap decisions and participate in benchmarking activities.
• Align with Business Line partners to identify optimal technology solutions for new products.
• Manage team performance, including hiring, retention, resource allocation, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical experience and expertise in Foundry Technology and Development.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience managing a group of engineers.
• Deep understanding of device physics and high-voltage/BCD architectures.
• Strong business acumen combined with foundry technical know-how.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence through technical competence.
• Proven ability to interface effectively with global teams and foundry partners across multiple continents.
