Technical Director

Responsibilities

• Manage, review, and approve design through all stages of development
• Lead the Construction Supervision Team and Project Engineers to ensure design criteria are met
• Facilitate workshops, progress meetings, and design management meetings with stakeholders
• Oversee multi-disciplinary design management and ensure high-quality design practices
• Coordinate with other disciplines to supervise all site-related aspects of the project
• Collaborate with contractor supervision staff regarding work schedules, sequences, and resources
• Ensure all tests and inspections are performed and documented per the Quality Management System

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in technical/design lead roles and construction works
• Proven experience with large or mega infrastructure and building programs
• Expertise in the design and construction of high-rise buildings and long-span steelwork structures
• Qualified Engineer with strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong client relationship management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on sports venues or facilities
