Technical Director - Hazardous Waste

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic technical vision for the management of liquid and solid hazardous waste across France.
• Act as a primary innovation referent, analyzing current technology limits and proposing new, sustainable processes.
• Pilot, structure, and secure complex projects related to the collection, treatment, and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Provide a 10-year strategic outlook on the evolution of waste processes, technologies, and recovery methods.
• Work transversally across the Group, interacting with technical, commercial, and operational departments.
• Support the deployment of innovative solutions across various Group sites.

Requirements

• Higher education in environmental management, environmental engineering, or chemistry.
• At least 10 years of experience in managing hazardous waste projects (liquid and solid).
• Deep expertise in environmental regulations, standards, and legal obligations.
• Proven ability in project management, handling multiple complex files simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout France to visit agencies, treatment centers, and industrial client sites.

• Experience working within highly technical industrial environments.
• Proficiency in project management software and digital tools.
