Technical Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Department, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and successful implementation of technical projects within schedule, budget, and quality specifications
• Oversee the evolution of Concession Agreements, Studies-Construction, Independent Engineer, and Operation and Maintenance contracts
• Supervise the preparation of necessary studies for PM and HM construction projects
• Initiate, supervise, and coordinate tender processes for selecting consultants, designers, and subcontractors
• Guide and oversee the scheduling of heavy maintenance works and new projects
• Participate in the evaluation committee for subcontractor and supplier bids
• Draft and monitor the implementation of the Technical Department budget and approve contractor accounts
• Maintain optimal communication with main construction and operation contractors, authorities, and utility companies
• Oversee the implementation of company policies and ensure compliance
• Manage staffing, development, and performance evaluation for the Technical Department
• Identify quality goals and oversee quality and safety systems

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in concession projects and highway construction in Greece and/or abroad
• Experience in budget management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GIS and VISIO systems
• Experience with project management platforms (Procore, Aconex, Autodesk Build)
• Experience with BIM technology
