Technical Director, C5ISR

Responsibilities

• Lead systems architecture and integration efforts across advanced C5ISR platforms and mission systems
• Serve as the technical SME for Command & Control (C2) software solutions and integrated mission systems
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for system interoperability, architecture design, and integration planning
• Conduct technical assessments and support strategic and tactical product planning initiatives
• Lead integration activities across hardware, software, communications, networking, and mission systems
• Support proposal development, technical capture strategies, and customer engagement activities
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation and product advancement
• Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity, interoperability, and federal defense standards
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of experience supporting C4ISR/C5ISR systems or defense technologies
• Deep expertise in systems architecture, systems integration, and C2 software environments
• Experience supporting complex integrated defense systems involving hardware, software, and networking
• Proven ability to support proposal development and technical capture activities
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Gilbert, AZ

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
• Experience supporting DHS or Department of War mission programs
• Experience with tactical systems, surveillance technologies, or autonomous platforms
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications or data analytics within defense systems
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• Relevant industry certifications such as PMP or CISSP
