Technical Director

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership of strategic client accounts, acting as the primary technology leader across all workstreams.
• Drive technical success from pre-sales through implementation, production readiness, and post-go-live evolution.
• Define and drive clients' technical strategies using deep product and technical expertise.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, navigating conversations from engineering teams to CIO-level executives.
• Partner with Delivery leaders to create plans that balance time-to-market with high-quality engineering standards.
• Ensure technical quality and compliance with platform best practices, raising the bar for engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Product Engineering, and Project Implementation teams to ensure successful product adoption.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards, review solution designs, and provide hands-on support to unblock technical issues when necessary.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall professional experience with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven expertise in software and systems architecture.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise-grade software delivery, ideally within financial services or regulated industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of Java, Spring, Maven, Gradle, Angular, Kotlin, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Observability, and SRE practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead in high-stakes environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications, such as Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Swift and various cloud deployment models.
