Technical Director

Responsibilities

• Build and grow strategic customer relationships to identify technology inflections.
• Articulate customer needs to internal stakeholders to drive product development.
• Develop and maintain relevant technical information for internal and external use.
• Build long-term innovative technology systems that enhance customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Development, and Service Engineering in a matrixed environment.
• Drive projects that secure business and build trust in ASM’s technical capabilities.
• Ensure efficient customer follow-up through consistent communication and presentation.

Requirements

• Master or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Deep expertise in Epitaxy, Thin Film, PEALD, PECVD, or LPCVD module process development.
• Solid technical understanding of advanced CMOS fabrication, integrated flow, chemistry, and physics.
• Proven track record of building collaborative partnerships with customers and internal organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate plans into action.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with local, regional, and global teams.
