Technical Development Supervisor (Welding Inspection)

Responsibilities

• Project management and development of welding and related technologies for power and petrochemical plant construction
• Develop operating procedures, work instructions, and study relevant regulations and standards
• Assist in new customer and product/service development
• Participate in technical communication with the SGS Global team
• Review inspection reports from domestic and foreign inspectors
• Build technical capacity and arrange training for personnel
• Lead technical teams in execution and provide consultation for inspectors
• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
• Solid experience in project management and welding technology for power/petrochemical plants
• In-depth understanding of ASME AI inspection business field
• At least five years of relevant work experience
• Strong ability to research and interpret laws and standards
• Good command of English (TOEIC 700+)
• Holds ASME Authorized Inspector (AI) certificate or IWE/CWE
• Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing and related engineering activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional welding-related certifications
• Non-destructive testing (NDT) certifications
