Technical Developer II, Running Footwear

Responsibilities

• Convert project briefs and 2D design renderings into high-performance 3D footwear samples
• Drive product and process excellence by recommending materials, components, and construction methods
• Manage complex footwear projects through all phases, including 3D prototyping, tooling, and mold design
• Ensure projects meet critical dates, design intent, performance goals, costing, and sustainability targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Engineering, Design, Sourcing, and overseas manufacturing partners
• Prepare projects for the commercialization process to ensure successful manufacturing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Development, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of directly applicable work experience in footwear or product development
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to interact with leadership and cross-functional teams
• Understanding of product and process planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of footwear manufacturing technologies, equipment, tooling, and materials
