Technical Designer (Interiors) - Expert

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design.
• Create, maintain, and modify interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
• Develop new design and analysis processes and tools to improve development effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide product definition to engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Interface with project engineering, production engineering, and program teams to define and implement engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher.
• 9+ years of related work experience in the aerospace industry.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical design, including modeling and technical integration.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials, properties, design criteria, and release.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools such as CATIA, Mentor Graphics, or Unigraphics.
• Experience with Model-based design (Catia V5) and systems engineering (Enovia).
• Experience training and mentoring high-level designers.
• Deep knowledge of Boeing design, production, and build processes.
