Technical Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical design process across multiple high-end projects
• Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and joinery details
• Ensure all designs are technically accurate, feasible, and compliant with UAE regulations
• Identify and resolve technical risks related to feasibility, budget, approvals, and timelines
• Manage tender documentation, BOQ reviews, RFIs, and contractor coordination
• Attend site meetings, conduct site inspections, and resolve on-site technical challenges
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Design team

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical design management (fit-out, architecture, or interior projects)
• Background in high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UAE building regulations
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and project coordination tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle
