About the role
Responsibilities
- Build interactive digital learning modules in Articulate 360 and Google Workspace integrated into Canvas LMS
- Develop instructor manuals, lesson plans, facilitation guides, and learner workbooks
- Create technical diagrams, videos, and animations for semiconductor processes like plasma etch and thin-film deposition
- Design practical lab exercises and performance-based assessments for electrical and vacuum tasks
- Translate technical competencies into modular, progressive skill-building sequences
- Synthesize feedback from learners and SMEs to drive curriculum iteration
- Manage content lifecycle and version control for existing modules
- Develop instructor onboarding materials and technical reference sheets
Requirements
- 1–3 years in technical instructional design or technical training content creation
- 1–3 years in electrical, electromechanical, or equipment-maintenance roles in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and PLC logic
- Familiarity with semiconductor process tools (photolithography, etch, deposition, etc.)
- Knowledge of vacuum systems, gas/chemical delivery, and metrology equipment
- Proficiency in Articulate 360, Canvas LMS, and Google Workspace
- Understanding of industrial safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E, SEMI guidelines)
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in semiconductor, maintenance, or electrical disciplines
- Instructional design or eLearning certifications
- Experience with virtual labs, AR/VR simulations, or SCORM/xAPI
- Familiarity with competency-based education (CBE)
