Technical Course Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive technical curriculum, including self-paced e-learning, modular e-learning, and instructor-led training (In-Person and Virtual).
• Analyze customer needs and feedback to identify training requirements and design course roadmaps.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to translate complex technical language into clear, concise learning materials.
• Integrate multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and simulations into training modules.
• Conduct independent research on new technologies, including on-vehicle validation and lab creation.
• Apply adult learning principles to ensure effective knowledge retention and design assessments to measure learner progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of technical training curriculum development and/or automotive/heavy-duty industry experience, OR
• Master's degree with 1+ year of technical training curriculum development and/or automotive/heavy-duty industry experience, OR
• 5+ years of technical training curriculum development and/or automotive/heavy-duty industry experience.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline and Adobe Cloud software.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hands-on automotive or dealership experience.
• Proven project management experience.
• Passion for translating complex technical information into engaging learning experiences.
