About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and document real property and installed equipment at Site 200 and Site 300
- Identify and obtain equipment nameplate and technical data for input into databases and AutoCAD drawings
- Provide status updates to supervisors and customers on documentation jobs
- Solve complex technical problems related to facility systems and documentation
- Ensure compliance with ES&H, Security, and LLNL policies and procedures
- Interact with scientists, engineers, construction teams, and technical personnel
Requirements
- Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q-level clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a construction and/or maintenance environment
- Knowledge of DOE O430.1C Real Property Asset Management
- Understanding of electrical/mechanical structures, one-line drawings, and panel schedules
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Experience interpreting technical and ES&H requirements and standards
