Technical Coordinator - Field Documentation

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and document real property and installed equipment at Site 200 and Site 300
• Identify and obtain equipment nameplate and technical data for input into databases and AutoCAD drawings
• Provide status updates to supervisors and customers on documentation jobs
• Solve complex technical problems related to facility systems and documentation
• Ensure compliance with ES&H, Security, and LLNL policies and procedures
• Interact with scientists, engineers, construction teams, and technical personnel

Requirements

• Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q-level clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a construction and/or maintenance environment
• Knowledge of DOE O430.1C Real Property Asset Management
• Understanding of electrical/mechanical structures, one-line drawings, and panel schedules
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Experience interpreting technical and ES&H requirements and standards
