Technical Content Engineer

Responsibilities

• Draft and publish technical content, including public trade desk notices and technical specifications, following strict approval workflows.
• Design structured, topic-based content using DITA and CCMS to maximize content reuse and metadata efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Compliance teams to gather technical requirements for documentation updates.
• Maintain documentation standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all technical artifacts.
• Integrate AI and automation tools into content workflows to improve scalability and reduce manual effort.
• Maintain operational runbooks, content architecture documentation, and internal knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, English, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in technical writing, content engineering, or structured authoring.
• Proficiency with DITA or structured authoring methodologies (e.g., CCMS).
• Experience with AI and/or automation tools applied to content workflows.
• Understanding of version control, content reuse, and metadata management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with XML content validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with financial markets, exchange operations, or highly regulated technology environments.
• Experience applying AI-assisted content generation tools and reviewing AI output for accuracy.
