About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Loyalty Management solutions, including member profiles, tier management, and earn/burn rules.
- Perform hands-on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and OmniStudio to extend Loyalty Cloud capabilities.
- Build and maintain scalable data models and integrations with commerce platforms, POS systems, and third-party engines using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Act as a technical thought leader by translating business requirements into robust technical designs and guiding customers on best practices.
- Ensure delivery excellence by following best practices for development, testing, CI/CD, and release management.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal technical assets and accelerators.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Apex and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, C#, or Python).
- Proven experience with Salesforce data modeling (objects, relationships, 1:M, M:M).
- Hands-on experience with declarative automation tools like Flows and Validation Rules.
- Experience implementing API-based integrations.
- Strong communication and customer-facing facilitation skills.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required (up to 50%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically with Salesforce Loyalty Management.
- Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds (Retail, Consumer Goods, Communications, or Financial Services).
- Exposure to Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Einstein AI.
- Experience with OmniStudio and event-driven architecture.
- Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or JavaScript Developer I).
