About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, implement, service, and troubleshoot complex IT networks and patient monitoring equipment in clinical environments.
- Provide technical recommendations to customers to support the transition to solution-focused operating models.
- Collaborate with regional work teams, including clinical, sales, and service partners, to coordinate project resources.
- Perform administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, preventative maintenance, and installation documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, networking, and mechanical problems within multi-phased systems.
- Travel across the specified New Jersey geography, with driving time averaging 1-4 hours daily and travel potentially exceeding 50%.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional field-based experience in IT technologies or the electronics industry within a clinical or hospital environment (or 7+ years of experience without a degree).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within New Jersey, including occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators.
- Strong network configuration and troubleshooting skills.
