Technical Consultant - Maritime Charting

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and implement key GIS workflows using the ArcGIS platform
• Configure ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise to support Maritime Safety of Navigation production workflows
• Understand how Esri technology integrates/interfaces with customers' solutions vision
• Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges
• Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in customer organizations

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical consulting or project delivery on IT-based projects
• Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating GIS solutions using the ArcGIS platform
• Experience supporting hydrographic data and nautical chart production
• US citizenship and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a STEM-related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ArcGIS Maritime for hydrographic data production (DNC and/or ENC products)
• Experience working on Agile Scrum Teams
• Experience with service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a STEM-related field
