About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, implement, service, and troubleshoot complex hospital monitoring systems and IT network infrastructure
- Provide technical recommendations to suit customer environments and support the transition to customer-focused solutions
- Collaborate with regional work teams, including clinical, sales, and service partners, to coordinate project resources
- Perform administrative duties including service work orders, preventative maintenance, and site documentation
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, networking, and mechanical problems within clinical and non-clinical environments
- Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT technologies or the electronics industry
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical engineering, or a related discipline
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time within the Charleston, SC region
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a field or hospital-based service environment
- Prior experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators
