Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate in advanced Professional Services engagements including enterprise migrations, architecture modernization, and system recovery exercises
• Design and deploy advanced ArcGIS Enterprise architectures using Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes
• Apply knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, object storage, and enterprise data tier components
• Implement enterprise authentication methods such as SAML/OIDC and domain-based authentication
• Lead customers through systematic system engineering methods to resolve complex technical challenges
• Collaborate with staff to support the technical growth of less-experienced colleagues

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS systems
• Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise
• Familiarity with troubleshooting server-based systems
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a related STEM field

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with major cloud providers
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting
• System administration experience with Windows, Linux, or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of networking concepts including HTTP, TCP, TLS, DNS, and firewalls
