Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Own the technical implementation of Bloomreach Discovery from kickoff to post-go-live transition for enterprise customers.
• Consult clients on product catalog modeling, feed data optimization, and ingestion.
• Advise on implementing Web SDKs and pixels for behavioral tracking and event mapping.
• Guide client developers on using Discovery APIs (search, category, recommendations) to power storefront experiences.
• Configure account settings and merchandising tools to ensure customers meet business goals.
• Maintain a Go-Live Health Checklist covering feeds, tracking, APIs, and search relevance.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Product Engineering, and Service Delivery Managers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in technical services, solutions engineering, or implementation consulting within a SaaS or e-commerce environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (browser and integration patterns), HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with HTTP/REST APIs, JSON, and authentication patterns.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Adobe/Magento, or commercetools).
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to own integration workstreams and manage technical specifications and data contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with search, recommendation, or personalization technologies (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch).
• Knowledge of tag managers such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium.
• Exposure to real-time personalization, segmentation, or CDP integrations.
• Experience working in retail, fashion, or multi-brand commerce environments.
