Technical Buyer

Responsibilities

• Purchase spare parts for machinery, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
• Monitor order fulfillment and ensure timely deliveries
• Organize urgent purchases and transport for critical parts shortages
• Identify spare parts using technical documentation and drawings
• Select suitable substitutes and optimize procurement costs
• Verify technical product specifications
• Collaborate with mechanics, engineers, and technology teams
• Supervise spare parts inventory levels and optimize min/max stock
• Participate in inventory audits and manage the maintenance system (ZMT)

Requirements

• Technical education in mechanics or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in technical procurement or maintenance
• Knowledge of spare parts such as bearings, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation
• Ability to read technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork
• English language skills sufficient for placing written orders with international suppliers
