About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the procurement of goods and services to ensure supplier compliance in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Prepare bidder lists, manage eRFX systems, verify qualifications, and conduct detailed bid evaluations.
- Lead purchase order negotiations, including terms and conditions, and recommend source selections.
- Identify and advise management of purchase order-related risks and T&C exceptions.
- Manage post-award activities including change orders, claims management, and PO closeout.
- Maintain accurate purchase order and purchasing process documentation.
- Develop and manage relationships with potential and qualified suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation) with a minimum 6.5 CGPA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project procurement, equipment, materials, and services, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in operating enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP and Ariba.
- Proven experience procuring major equipment (e.g., Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors) and handling service orders (Civil, Mechanical, E&I).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience handling complex T&C deviations such as Liability, Warranty, and Insurance.
- Ability to manage an annual spend of at least $1M.

- Demonstrated resilience and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed virtual organization.
