Responsibilities

• Identify demand signals across engineering, prototyping, testing, propulsion, and manufacturing teams
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from vendor prospecting and quoting to order placement and delivery tracking
• Source piece parts, machined components, hardware, tooling, and lab supplies
• Drive supplier schedule execution through regular check-ins and risk escalation
• Maintain detailed procurement trackers for RFQs, POs, and supplier commitments
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing to clarify technical requirements and specifications
• Build and manage relationships with critical suppliers and service providers
• Vet and qualify new vendors to expand the supply chain network

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing in a hardware environment
• Strong ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, and part descriptions
• Exceptional organizational skills for tracking multiple suppliers and orders simultaneously
• Strong communication skills for vendor negotiation and schedule confirmation
• Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to aerospace industry
• Experience with export-controlled environments
• Knowledge of AS9100 suppliers or regulated hardware
